What lies ahead?

OSHEAN LogoOSHEAN – a nonprofit coalition of universities, hospitals, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations in southeastern New England – is dedicated to providing innovative Internet-based technology solutions for its member institutions and the communities they serve.  Our focus is on the technology. But our context lies in its applications.

We’re interested in how people in the visceral world interact with the virtual one.

This year we meet on April 26 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Brown University, Andrews Dining Hall

To attend our event please Register HERE (for invitees only)

How will new, tech-driven communication norms influence teaching and learning, public discourse, and democracy? How will the new age of medical technology – from e-health to advances in imaging to mining the potential of the human genome – change the way we age and live our lives?  What will students carry in 2015?

Imagining the future of technology is like trying to catch a lightning bolt. Fast, difficult, and a little dangerous.
